Kyle + Amanda's Wedding | High Line Car House

It was back in 2009 when Amanda first told me she had a crush on Kyle. We were at high school field hockey practice and I remember this conversation like it was yesterday! She was totally smitten about this cute, tall, creative guy named Kyle. Fast forward 8 years and here I am photographing Kyle and Amanda's wedding day!

Their winter wedding took place at High Line Car House and the evening was celebrated with their closest family and friends. It was the sweetest intimate ceremony and I definitely cried a handful of times throughout the night!

The details of their wedding were planned in 2 months and wow, did they do an amazing job! The bridesmaids floor length lace dresses were stunning along side the classic black tuxes of the groomsmen. Amanda's soft blush wedding dress was also one of my favorites I have seen! Here are the highlights of this lovely evening!

Andrew + Courtney's Wedding | Vue Columbus

My last winter wedding of the season was beautiful! Andrew + Courtney tied the knot in front of 200 close family and friends. The ceremony took place in Upper Arlington at St. Andrews Catholic Church. This church was gorgeous and had a lot of character!

For a February wedding, we lucked out with nice weather! We took all the wedding portraits by the Scioto Mile in downtown Columbus. The city view overlooking the river was perfect! The bridesmaids wore stunning floor length navy dresses with lace details at the top. I love that they added a grey shawl for outdoor portraits. Navy has been a very popular color lately!

The reception took place at The Vue in the heart of the Brewery District. This was my first time photographing at this venue and it is definitely a new favorite! Darren and I loved the industrial urban feel of the space. Courtney's rustic winter vision was shown through the fun details she added everywhere you turned. Andrew even handmade the bar with barn wood which looked awesome!

The entire day was so fun. Darren and I now have a full month off before wedding season officially starts! 2 weddings down and 22 more to go!

Italian Inspired Styled Shoot

This past year, I worked with incredible vendors to create an Italian inspired styled shoot. The decor was full of lush reds, greens with touches of blue and pops of copper. We even had homemade breadsticks and wine from Italy! It turned out beautifully. My talented sis, MaryBeth always does a great job styling all of the details!

I asked Casey and Alex to be my bride and groom models for this wedding shoot and they were excited to join in! I met them earlier in the year at their anniversary session and the love + connection they shared was so evident. I knew instantly that this adorable couple would be a perfect fit and they had so much fun with it!

I always enjoy taking time out of my busy schedule to work with other creatives and collaborate. Creating styled shoots are so fun and I cannot wait to brainstorm ideas for more in the future!
