This past Sunday, I had my first mini session marathons of the year! It is always a pleasure to see my past clients throughout each season. I love watching the little ones grow! Meeting new families is also an honor because it means so much that they chose me to document such sweet milestones and memories for their family! I had a blast and am so thankful that my parent's again let me host my sessions on their beautiful property! Plus the weather turned out perfect! Big shoutout to Florish for the pretty teepee garland and Aiden & Grace for the settee! Below are my favorite highlights from last weekend. Last Friday, Darren and I traveled down to Cincinnati for Kevin + Stephanie's rehearsal dinner. Stephanie and I joined the same sorority Freshman year of college and she is one of the sweetest girls I know! We had so much fun prepping for their wedding and getting to hang with the wedding party the night before!
Where do I begin with this stunning wedding?! Saturday we were up bright and early to start photographing the most gorgeous details. From the mimosa bar, to the yummy macarons and Belgium waffles, the huge bridal suite at The Westin was the perfect getting ready location for the bride and her maids! The bridesmaid's reaction to seeing their best friend as a bride for the first time was PRICELESS. Bring on the tears! I had so much fun spending hours with the girls before Stephanie's first look with Kevin.
Now..the first look with Kevin was JUST as priceless. Kevin anxiously rode the escalator and at the top is where he first saw his soon-to-be bride. It was the sweetest moment. He was beaming and said "LOOK! THIS IS MY WIFE!"
The rain came down as the bridal party jumped in the limo and headed to the Cincinnati Music Hall. My bulk order of white umbrella's sure did come in handy and made for some cute rainy shots! The ceremony took place at their church and I truly felt the excitement as they stood in front of their loved ones to say their "I do's." After the ceremony, we headed to our favorite location, the same bridge we went for Kevin + Steph's engagement photos!
The suspension bridge in downtown Cincinnati is gorgeous and is my favorite color! We somehow managed to get the entire bridal party out in the middle for a few shots. It was amazing that the traffic and rain stopped for a few minutes!
The reception took place at The Center which Darren and I both loved. Again, the beautiful blush and navy details were so stunning for this springtime wedding. We ate amazing food from McHale's and danced the night away! It was fun to see sorority sisters and share in this special day.
Congrats to Kevin + Stephanie! Have an amazing honeymoon!
