On Memorial Day weekend, I had the honor of capturing Justin and Alli's big day in the small town of Delaware! I was looking forward to this wedding for an entire year and it was definitely a gorgeous one!
Justin and Alli both grew up in Delaware (they were actually in the same Kindergarten class, how cute is that?!) and knew they wanted their wedding to take place in their hometown. Since Justin is in the army and most of the year was spent long distance, Alli and their families did a lot of the planning. Everyone did an incredible job! One aspect that impressed me the most about this wedding was the surprise details that were planned throughout the day. My favorite part was when Justin's grandpa drove the getaway car after the ceremony. This car was from 1903! How awesome is that?!
I loved that Memorial Day was incorporated into different aspects of their day as well. With the groom being in the military, along with the best man and other guests, it was very important to take time during the wedding to remember those who have lost their lives serving for our freedom. At the reception, Justin gave a speech and there was a "memorial table" set up that was left empty. This was to show and remember those who could not be there. Thank you Justin for your service to our country.
I could go on and on about this wedding! Darren and I had a great time and I hope you enjoy the sneak peeks of our favorites below! Congratulations to the newlyweds!
