Dustin + Rachel's Wedding | Cibréo Privato Cleveland

Dustin and Rachel's wedding was the best way to start off my 2017 busy season! Darren and I met this sweet couple last May and traveled to Cleveland for their engagement session. We immediately clicked and I knew that their wedding would be so much fun. These two tied the knot in their Catholic church in Brecksville surrounded by close family and friends. The entire day was emotional, intimate and full of love!

Rachel had contacted me days prior to her wedding worried about rain and I assured her that rain or shine, I would get those gorgeous natural light photos she always dreamed about! It rained ALL day but that did not stop us or the entire wedding party from having fun and embracing the weather! We grabbed the white umbrellas from my trunk (that I always take to weddings, just in case!) and had a blast in the rain outside of the Cleveland Art Museum. We also went inside to the atrium of the museum, which could not have been a more perfect indoor spot for photos! You would have never known that this spot was inside because the entire ceiling was made of glass! These are some of my favorite wedding party photos!

Dustin + Rachel's reception took place in downtown Cleveland at the cutest Italian restaurant, called Cibréo Privato. I am not even kidding, this was the best wedding food I have ever had! (And I have had a lot of amazing wedding food!) If you are in Cleveland, you need to try this place- yum! The toasts were all heartfelt and emotional, which is one of my favorite parts of a reception. This entire day was so fun and I absolutely love this #susiemariecouple! Congrats Mr. + Mrs. Freshwater!

Wedding Update! | May 2017

I am so excited about this wedding update! Last week, I finally asked my bridesmaids / flower girls, AND tried on dresses with my mom! This is such a fun time and I am enjoying every moment of being engaged. Having a long engagement has definitely allowed Darren and I to take our time with planning and I cannot believe we are so close to one year away!

Below are the boxes that I created to ask each of my bridesmaids to be in the wedding. I loved making these! The personalized cookies are from Jana Lee's Bake Shop and the knot earrings are from the sweetest small business, Seaside Jems. I made the boxes to match our wedding colors and overall style! Bring on all the light blue details and greenery! (Yes, this also matches my photography brand...and apartment!) All 10 bridesmaids officially said yes- yay!

I also included some photos from my appointment at B.Loved Bridal Boutique. I absolutely adore the owner Lesley. She made my first experience dress shopping the best. I took just my mom this first time and loved sharing this memory with her! The dresses here are stunning. Brides, if you are looking to set up an appointment definitely check out this boutique!

Lastly, I have photos from the flower girl shoot that I did with my two little nieces a few weeks ago! I needed these photos because I made a puzzle with our picture for them to put together. Okay, I guess Sadie was really the one to put it together, but Stella sure enjoyed eating the cookies! I can't wait to have my two little goddaughters walk down the isle right before me!

Spring Mini Sessions | April 2017

This past Sunday, I had my first mini session marathons of the year! It is always a pleasure to see my past clients throughout each season. I love watching the little ones grow! Meeting new families is also an honor because it means so much that they chose me to document such sweet milestones and memories for their family! I had a blast and am so thankful that my parent's again let me host my sessions on their beautiful property! Plus the weather turned out perfect! Big shoutout to Florish for the pretty teepee garland and Aiden & Grace for the settee! Below are my favorite highlights from last weekend. To sign up for one of my sessions later this year, click here!
