Ben + Whitney's Wedding | Oak Grove at Jorgensen Farms

Ben + Whitney's wedding at Oak Grove was incredibly sweet, emotional and intimate. Their morning ceremony was beautiful as the sunny glow shined through the greenhouse. They said their 'I do's' to one another and made vows to their daughter, Gracie. My goodness, there was not a dry eye around! The images truly show just how loving their ceremony was.

There were so many sweet moments that made it an unforgettable wedding for us as photographers! Whitney surprised Ben during their first dance by singing the first part of the song. I LOVED this moment! Also, their reception was early in the afternoon and was full of tacos, churros, laughs and joyful tears! Speeches were open to all of their family and friends which was such a great idea for a smaller, intimate wedding.

It's a funny story how I met this couple. I was photographing an engagement session last Fall when I first noticed Ben + Whitney popping champagne and celebrating their engagement. Ben had proposed just minutes before we saw them at Frank Fetch Park. After my session, I walked over and offered to take photos of this moment for them. Ben and Whitney were ecstatic. We exchanged information and I sent them their gallery of images. They booked me instantly and we all agreed that our paths were meant to cross for a reason! It's such a fun and special memory that started our relationship and I am so thankful to have them as one of my Susie Marie couples!

Ben + Cindy's Wedding | Pinnacle Golf Club

Earlier this month, we had the sweetest wedding at the Pinnacle Golf Club in Grove City. Ben + Cindy are two of the nicest people and their whole day was relaxing and smooth. They could not have asked for a more perfect and sunny day for their outdoor ceremony overlooking the golf course.

My favorite aspect of their wedding day was how they tied in cultural traditions from both sides of the family. During their traditional ceremony, they also incorporated a tea ceremony since that is very important to Ben's family. I love seeing how each wedding has different traditions that make their big day so special and unique to them. It was most definitely a pleasure working with this adorable couple. Congrats Mr. + Mrs. King!

John + Julie's Wedding | Columbus Museum of Art + The Westin

John + Julie's wedding day was absolutely stunning from start to finish! Their ceremony was at the Columbus Museum of Art and it was truly beautiful. The ceiling is made of total glass, so it brought a wonderful natural light and glow to the ceremony. Their backdrop was created by Madison House Designs and the garden-inspired greenery garland was so my style!

After the ceremony we drove around Columbus for portraits of the wedding party and the bride + groom. We started at Franklin Park Conservatory and ended around North Park Pavillion. Both locations were still full of color and looked like summertime!

The day ended at the Westin Columbus, which is definitely one of my favorite venues to photograph a reception. The tall ceilings, large windows, and all of the gold details everywhere is just amazing! Before the evening started, I snuck John + Julie into the ballroom to grab shots of just the two of them. These are some of my favorite images of the entire day! This wedding was an absolute joy to photograph and I am so happy for Mr. + Mrs. DeClemente!
